I love dog lover mysteries (sp) a few of my the best are Susan Conant and Carol Lee Benjamin. Susa's books are about a woman who is a dog writer, who shows Malamutes, they are from Boston,MA. She just happens to fall in to trouble and the dogs help her get out. She adds tons of really great training tips and real live web sites.
Carol Lee's books have a woman with a pit bull as the mains, she is baised in New York city. Also some wondrful training tips mixed in with the stories.
What about you all, who do you read.

I want to read that book Merle's Door...Barb on the other board mentioned it..guess it's about a labrador retriever.....
Right now I'm reading all the Harry Potter books (don't laugh). I'm up to the 4th one, it's like 800 pages. But, they are EXCELLENT!! I see why the kids all love them, I'm hooked, and they aren't really for just kids. _________________

Well, I'm reading #4 now...Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. So, I have 3 more to go, til the last. Wanted to wait until they all came out before reading them.
Have you read them all but the last one? _________________

| Harry Potter? I love Harry Potter and was so sad it had to end. I've read them all...yep, even the last one. It's excellent and that's all I'm saying. So glad to know there are Harry Potter fans here, too! |

| Not fair, I haven't even gone to get my copy of the last book. I bet it's good, don't think I like the movies as much as I do the books. But I'm that way with all books that are made in to movies. I just love to read. |

Oh, me, too. Have to have a book going. The movies weren't nearly as good as the books. You have to get that last one!!! She out did herself. Fabulous last book...if there had to be a last one.
